Xiaomi Mi 5 has been one of the most anticipated smartphones of this year. Leaks have been aplenty, and now spyshots of the smartphone have surfaced online. Mobile Dad leaks two photos of the Mi 5 smartphone that shows off an edge-to-edge bezel-less display.
This is in line with previous rumors that hint near bezel-less display at a size of 5.2-inches. Where the Mi 4 flaunts a full-HD display, the Mi 5 is rumored to flaunt a QHD (2560x1440pixels) resolution screen, similar to the Mi Note Pro launched earlier this year.
From what we know so far, it is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 4GB RAM. It will come in 16/64GB variants, and is likely to integrate a fingerprint scanner in the home button.
On the camera front, it is said to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. The Mi 5 will run on the company s new MIUI 7 (most likely based on Android 5.1 Lollipop) pegged to be unveiled next month.
It may pack a 3,000mAh battery which will have fast charging abilities. The smartphone will charge up to 30 percent in five minutes and up to 100 percent in 40 minutes.
