Xiaomi was expected to launch the Mi 4 successor earlier this year, but the company surprised everyone by launching the Mi Note. Earlier this week, we heard that the Mi 5 would be the first smartphone in the company s lineup to boast a fingerprint scanner. As per the leaks, the Mi 5 is expected to flaunt a 5.2-inch QHD display, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. Furthermore, the smartphone is also expected to feature a 16-megapixel OIS camera, and at least 3,000mAh battery.
From what we have seen so far, the Mi 5 is shaping up to be a monster of a smartphone. There is currently no word on when the company plans on launching the smartphone.
