Ahead of the April 25 launch in China, Xiaomi continues to tease the Mi 6X smartphone. The company has already teased the color variants and selfie camera samples among other details. Now, the latest teaser on Weibo (spotted by GizmoChina) reveals some other interesting details about the smartphone.
The new teaser confirms that the Mi 6X will be launched in a 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant as well. This is beside the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage, and the other with 6GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage variants that are expected.

The teasers have also shown off dual cameras at the back, which will be placed vertically, same as we have already seen on the Redmi Note 5 Pro. In China, the Mi 6X is expected to run Android Oreo with MIUI 9.5 skin on top, whereas for the global variant, the smartphone will be rebranded as Mi A2 and run Android One program, reports state.

From what we know so far, the smartphone will bring a 5.99-inch LCD display offering full HD+ resolution, and 18:9 display. Just like the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro, the smartphone is also expected to come with gesture control support. Under the hood, the smartphone could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC.
At the back, a dual camera setup comprising o a 20-megapixel primary sensor, and a 12-megapixel sensor is expected. Up front, there will be a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor, reports reveal. And as the current industry trend, the cameras are also expected to bring AI-enabled features. There is no word on the pricing or India availability yet, but we expected those details to pour soon.
