Xiaomi Mi 6X or the Mi A2 for markets outside China is expected to be launched in China on April 25. Ahead of the release, the company has teased the smartphone through a Weibo post where the colors of the Mi 6X have been revealed. The Mi 6X will be available in five color options, including one in red which is quite identical to the OnePlus 5T Red model. When the predecessor, Mi 5X, was launched last year, it was made available only in four color options. With the new Mi 6X, customers will have the option to choose from colors like Cherry Powder, Red Flame, Sand Gold, Glacier Blue and Black Stone. In addition to revealing the colors of the Mi 6X, Xiaomi‘s post also throws light on a number of other features which have been previously leaked. These include the presence of a dual camera module, a dedicated fingerprint sensor at the back, and an 18:9 aspect ratio display. Xiaomi Mi 6X rumored specifications
One of the talking points of the Xiaomi Mi 6X is that it will sport an 18:9 display. It is said to feature a 5.99-inch LCD display with full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at 2GHz will be paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM.
Previous reports indicate there will be a combination of a 20-megapixel sensor with a 12-megapixel secondary sensor at the back. Up front, it is expected to sport a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor. In line with the current industry trend, the camera is likely to boast AI-enabled features for enhanced photos.
It is expected to arrive in three models 4GB RAM+32GB storage, 6GB RAM+ 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM+128GB storage. On the software front, we can expect it to run Android Oreo with the latest MIUI 9 running atop.

As of now, there’s no clarity on the India launch of Mi 6X. However, when the company launches the device here, it will be sold under the Mi A2 branding. With this moniker, the smartphone will run stock Android, as part of the Google Android One program, similar to its predecessor Mi A1.
