Retail boxes of the Xiaomi Mi 8 also surfaced the internet confirming that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 along with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Lenovo Z5 to launch on June 5
Lenovo VP Chang Cheng confirmed the launch details about the upcoming flagship from the company, the Lenovo Z5 on Weibo. According to the post, the company will launch the Lenovo Z5 on June 5 in the Chinese market which is almost two weeks before the July 14 that was floating on the internet.
Lenovo is claiming that the Z5 will offer a screen-to-body ratio higher than 95 percent when it becomes official next month. It is also teasing that Lenovo Z5 will arrive with a whopping 4TB of internal storage. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM including a number of other features such as the 45 day standby time and 30 minutes talk time with 0 percent battery.
OnePlus 6 becomes the highest ever revenue-grossing smartphone on Amazon India
OnePlus was back in news after issuing updates for the OnePlus 6, OnePlus 3, 3T, 5 and 5T in past few days. It was revealed that OnePlus removed its Always-on ambient display feature from its latest flagship, the OnePlus 6. The company confirmed that this was because of battery saving concern and it seems like OnePlus could not figure out a way to optimize the battery used by the display when the option was turned on.

OnePlus also issued a statement stating that OnePlus 6 has become the highest selling smartphone in terms of revenue on any single day. OnePlus 6 achieved the feat during the early access sale for Prime members held at 12 PM on May 21, 2018. It says OnePlus 6 also beat the entire launch day sales record previously held by its predecessor OnePlus 5T. OnePlus had earlier claimed that its sales touch Rs 100 crore during the early preview sale on Amazon India.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 may launch on July 29
Samsung may be planning to launch its upcoming flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on July 29. This rumored date is almost a month early than the usual launch timeline that the company follows every year. The device was also spotted on the mobile benchmarking website Geekbench giving us a hint about what to expect from the device in terms of specifications.
The device was powered by Exynos 9810 SoC with an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.79GHz along with 6GB RAM and 512GB internal storage according to the listing in favor of Snapdragon 845. In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Note 9 is expected to largely follow on the design of its predecessor. It is expected to feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display as opposed to 6.3-inch display found on Galaxy Note 8.
HMD Global posts another teaser for its Moscow launch event
HMD Global took to its official Twitter handle to post another teaser with an image inviting everyone to join the company LIVE for the launch event from Moscow. The caption of the image teases the upcoming smartphone by asking users to find out What s next in the #Nokiamobile story . It went on to add that it s time to get #ChargedUp.
It is likely that the company is planning to launch upgraded versions of the Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5. These devices were spotted on Russian regulatory websites hinting at an imminent launch. It is also likely that the company could be launching the global variant of its latest smartphone, the Nokia X6 that it launched in China earlier this month.

Idea expands its VoLTE service across 15 circles
Idea Cellular has expanded its Voice over LTE (VoLTE) service to nine major markets including Mumbai, Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh (East and West), Bihar and Jharkhand, and Rajasthan.
With this latest rollout, Idea Cellular s VoLTE services are now available across 15 circles. These 15 circles cover 85 percent of India s mobile subscriber base. In addition to rolling out the VoLTE, Idea will also be offering 10GB of data within 48 hours of placing the first VoLTE call. After that, users can still get additional 10GB free data by giving the company feedback after four and eight weeks of using the new services.
