The day is finally here, and Xiaomi is all set to celebrate its 8th anniversary with a special event that is taking place in Shenzhen. The company has been teasing the launch of its flagship smartphone, the Mi 8 along with a bunch of other products. The Mi 8 is expected to be the first Android flagship smartphone to come with 3D depth sensing technology. It is also rumored to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, along with facial recognition technology. Along with the Mi 8 smartphone, Xiaomi has also teased the launch of Mi Band 3 fitness tracker with an OLED touchscreen display. And that’s not all, the MIUI 10 interface based on Android 8.1 Oreo is also expected to be announced at the event. Xiaomi will be live streaming the event on its MIUI forums. The new Mi TV comes with a 75-inch display and is priced at RMB 8,999, which roughly translates to Rs 95,000.
Specifications of the Mi 8 SE.
There is also a Mi 8 Explorer Edition with In-Display Fingerprint Sensor and a Clear back design.
Here are the specifications of the Mi 8 SE. It is priced at RMB 1,799, which is Rs 18,900 approximately.
Xiaomi is also launching the Mi 8 SE. It will come with a smaller 5.8-inch display. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC
Besides Snapdragon 845 SoC, the Mi 8 also comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
Looks like there is one more smartphone that will come with In-display fingerprint sensor.
The Mi 8 also includes dual frequency GPS, which it claims to help in accurate positioning, and navigation.
The 20-megapixel front camera on Mi 8 also supports AI portrait selfies.
