Xiaomi launched the second generation of Mi A-series, the Mi A2 in August this year. At the time of launch, the company announced two variants, but only the base model with 4GB RAM went on sale. Now, after silently listing the 6GB RAM model, it is finally going on sale via Amazon India for Rs 17,999. The 4GB RAM variant, on the other hand, was launched for Rs 16,999, but it is now available for Rs 14,990 after a discount of Rs 2,000.
There are a bunch of offers that buyers can avail too. Reliance Jio users can avail up to 4.5TB additional data, and instant cashback of Rs 2,000. ICICI and Citibank users can get 10 percent cashback, maximum up to Rs 20,000 on their purchase. Lastly, Vodafone and Idea Cellular users can get 360GB extra data when they buy the Mi A2 from Amazon India.

Talking about specifications, the Xiaomi Mi A2 flaunts a 5.99-inch display with FHD+ resolution, and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core chipset. While there are different storage options to choose from, unfortunately there is no microSD card slot to expand the memory.
In the photography department, you get dual cameras at the back, a combination of 12-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors. Up front, you have a 20-megapixel snapper accompanied by a soft light LED flash.
The Mi A2 is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0+ support using the USB Type-C port, and for security there is a fingerprint sensor at the back. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and IR Blaster.
