The Mi A2 is set to go on sale once again today, with prospective buyers getting another chance to pick up the in-demand smartphone from Xiaomi. The device is the second Android One device from the Chinese smartphone maker, and will be available on flash sale on Amazon India and Mi.com/in. The sale begins at 12:00PM, and we recommend you log in and be ready to add the device to your cart a little bit before that.
There are a few offers available for today’s sale, including five percent cash back on SBI credit card EMI purchases, as well as no-cost EMI on purchases with the Bajaj Finserv EMI card. Other payment options are also available for purchasing the phone, which is priced at Rs 16,999. The Mi A2 is the successor to the Xiaomi Mi A1, which was launched last year as Xiaomi’s first Android One device.
Xiaomi Mi A2: Price, specifications, and features
Bearing a price tag of Rs 16,999, the Xiaomi Mi A2 has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC under-the-hood, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (There’s also a higher-end variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, coming soon). However, there’s no memory expansion slot. During today’s sale, only the 4GB RAM option will be available.
Running stock Android 8.1 Oreo, the Mi A2 is on track to receive OS/security updates (including the latest Android Pie) directly from Google. It sports a 5.99-inch FullHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels, and an 18:9 aspect ratio.

For photography, the Mi A2 features a dual-camera setup at the back. It has a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a secondary 20-megapixel sensor, complete with dual-LED flash. There’s also a 20-megapixel camera up front for selfies and video calls. From Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac to USB Type-C, the Mi A2 has all the modern connectivity options you can think of. Sadly, there’s no 3.5mm audio port. A 3,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 compatibility backs up the whole package.
