Xiaomi Mi A2, Mi A2 Lite launched
The Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite have been launched in Spain at the global launched event. The highlight of the Mi A2 is that it comes with an 18:9 Full HD+ display, dual rear cameras, front camera with AI and it is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC. The smartphone will soon launch in India, but Xiaomi hasn t revealed any date yet.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi also launched a more affordable version of the smartphone, the Mi A2 Lite. It comes with a notched display, Snapdragon 625 SoC, dual rear cameras, and Android One OS. Sadly, the Mi A2 Lite will not be launched in India.

Honor 9N launched in India
Huawei s sub-brand Honor also launched the 9N smartphone in India, and some of the highlights include a notched display, dual cameras, face unlock and more. The smartphone will be sold exclusively via Flipkart, and prices start at Rs 11,999.

Android Oreo distribution numbers
When it comes to software updates, Android clearly lags compared to iOS, and the fragmentation is to be blamed. Android Oreo was launched towards the end of last year, and now, while Google is on the heels of releasing Android P, Oreo has barely crossed the 12 percent mark. Project Treble should fix most of these issues to deliver faster software updates, but we will only come to know that after Google releases Android P.
OnePlus 5, 5T to get selfie portrait mode
OnePlus 6 comes with an AI portrait mode for the front camera which adds DSLR-like Bokeh effects to your photos. The best part is that it does not require a dual camera setup. OnePlus is working to bring the feature to the 5 and 5T smartphones. Though, there is no specific timeline for the same.
Samsung to launch Bixby smart speaker at IFA 2018
Samsung flagship smartphones come with Bixby voice assistant and now the company wants to make the assistant available on even more devices, such as smart speakers. The company is reportedly gearing up to launch the Bixby-powered smart speaker Magbee at IFA 2018.
Huami Amazfit smartwatches launched in India
Xiaomi s sub-brand Huami has entered the Indian market with two of its fitness centric-smartwatches. The Amazfit Bip is priced at Rs 5,499, whereas the Amazfit Stratos is priced at Rs 15,999. These fitness-focused smartwatches will be available via Flipkart.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has also launched the Mi Bunny Children Phone Watch 3 which comes with dual 4G and a 2-megapixel HD camera. Xiaomi says that the camera uses AI technology to identify plants in order to help your child learn better.
