Pre-orders for Xiaomi Mi A2 are set to begin today (August 9) at 12:00PM. Interested buyers can pre-book the smartphone on both either Amazon India or mi.com. While the first flash sale of the Mi A2 is scheduled to take place on August 16, deliveries to those who pre-order the smartphone will begin as early as August 12. Those who are interested in pre-ordering the smartphone can do so by heading over to Amazon India or mi.com at 12:00PM, and adding the Mi A2 to their shopping cart. Once that s done, the full price of the smartphone needs to be paid in advance to finalize the order. After the order is placed successfully, the Mi A2 will start shipping from August 12.
It s worth mentioning that buyers will also get Rs 2,200 in cashback from Reliance Jio, as well as 4.5TB of free data.
The sequel to last year s Mi A1, the Xiaomi Mi A2 is the Chinese technology giant s second Android One smartphone. As such, the Mi A2 runs a stock build of Android 8.1 Oreo. It s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, paired with 4/6GB of RAM, and 64/128GB of internal storage. There is, however, no microSD card support. Xiaomi Mi A2 has a 5.99-inch FullHD+ panel with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixel, and an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Xiaomi Mi A2 has a dual-camera system at the back, comprised of a 12-megapixel sensor and a 20-megapixel sensor. There s 4K video recording capability, but no OIS. For selfies, there s a 20-megapixel front-facing shooter with a single LED flash on-board.
From Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac to USB Type-C, the Mi A2 has all the connectivity options you d expect in a modern smartphone. Sadly, the 3.5mm audio port has been done away with. A 3,000mAh battery (with Quick Charge 4.0+ support) backs up the entire package.
