Xiaomi has just launched its latest lineup of products in India. However, unlike the previous launch events, the company focused on smart products at this launch while targeting at the upcoming Diwali sale season. The company announced four products in total at the launch event including the much anticipated Xiaomi Mi Band 3, Mi TVs in different sizes, Mi Air Purifier 2S, Mi Smart Camera for security surveillance, and a suitcase. With the launch of these products, it looks like the company is planning to consolidate its hold on the Indian market.
These products fulfill a long-standing demand from Xiaomi Mi fans and enthusiasts. These products will be available via mi.com and at Mi Home stores. In addition to these two channels, the company is also selling these products via online channels. So without much delay, let’s dive into all the products that the company launched in India today.
Watch: Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro First Look
Mi Band 3
The Mi Band 3 is clearly the most awaited device from the lot. The reason for this is because of the success of the Mi Band 2, and HRX editions in the market. Talking about the specifications, the Mi Band 3 comes with a 0.78-inch OLED display with rounded edges, and a depressed button in the bottom part of the display. Xiaomi has kept the heart-rate sensor in the band along with fitness and activity tracking that includes step counting, sleep monitoring and more. The band is also water resistant up to 50 meters.
The company claims that the Band 3 will be better connected with the paired smartphone, and will also feature improved notification prompts. Users will also be able to see who is calling and directly mute incoming calls on the Mi Band 3 itself. Xiaomi claims that the battery life of the Mi Band 3 is 20 days but we will need to check the claims from the company. The company has priced the wearable at Rs 1,999, and it will be available via Amazon India, and mi.com starting tomorrow. It will also be available via Mi Home stores soon.

Xiaomi has also announced the launch of three new TVs for the Indian market. These include the Mi TV 4C Pro with 32-inch screen, Mi TV 4A Pro with 49-inch screen, and the Mi TV 4 Pro with 55-inch screen. These TVs come with FHD+ display panel with HDR, Amlogic 64-bit quad-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, and AI voice recognition on the remote. Mi Home Security Camera 360
The Mi Home Smart Camera 360 is the first security-related product that Xiaomi has launched in India. The company pointed out that it allows recording at 1080p video resolution in H.265 encoding so that the video takes less bandwidth and storage. The camera also comes with a 360-degree viewing angle. The camera comes with infrared night vision and it uses AI for enhanced motion detection. Xiaomi has also added a two-way voice control function for users to control the camera.
Users can control and keep a tab on things with the help of a dedicated app. Considering that this product is related to security, Xiaomi has also added encrypted data transmission and cloud storage for all the footage that is recorded on the camera. The company has priced the camera at Rs 2,699, and it will be available from October 10 via Amazon India, Flipkart, mi.com, and soon at Mi Home Stores.
Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2S
Mi Air Purifier 2S is the upgraded version of the Air Purifier that Xiaomi already sells in the Indian market. The Purifier 2S comes with an OLED display for information about air quality, temperature, humidity, and other aspects. The company claims that the light sensor on the purifier will automatically sense the change in lighting conditions, and automatically adjust the brightness level of the display.
The device also comes with “high precision laser sensor” to monitor the air quality on a microscopic level with as small as 0.3um particles. The filtration system is more powerful and faster than the original Air Purifier. Users can control all the aspects of the Purifier with the help of its mobile app while keeping a tab on the air quality at home even in their absence. The Mi Air Purifier 2S is priced at Rs 8,999, and will be available starting from September 28 12PM via Amazon India, Flipkart, mi.com, and soon via Mi Stores.
The last product for the event is the Mi Luggage made from German Bayer Makrolon TMPC material. Xiaomi has launched two variants in 20-inch and 24-inch sizes, priced at Rs 2,999 and Rs 4,299 respectively. Both suitcases have wheels at the bottom, and a custom code lock for security.
