Huami Technologies CEO Huang Wang reportedly confirmed last week that Mi Band 3 fitness tracker will soon be announced. For the uninitiated, Huami Technologies is the company that manufactures AmazFit brand of fitness trackers and smartwatches and it also the maker of Xiaomi’s Mi Band fitness trackers. Now, just days after that confirmation, a bunch of screenshot have leaked of the alleged fitness band, that claim to remove a bunch of crucial new features on the device.
Per the leaked images, which were reported by GizmoChina, the Mi Band 3 will feature a touchscreen display and will carry support for some gestures. The screenshots reveal how the band will allow users to easily switch among notifications and other features by simply sliding up and down. Swiping up on the screen will unlock the Mi Band 3. Tapping on the screen will allow users to switch between different items through infinite loop.

Further, one of the screenshots also show how tapping the band’s capacitive key can also function as the Back command to access the last page. Long pressing on the same key to confirm certain features like start searching for a device to pair or stop using the stopwatch and so on.
Reportedly, the Mi Band 3 will see some drastic changes over its predecessor, the Mi Band 2. Besides the touchscreen capability, the device’s display is also rumored to carry color pixels.
A month ago, the Mi Band 3 also received the Bluetooth SIG certification, which revealed that the device will carry support for Bluetooth 4.2.
