Xiaomi Mi Band is all set to go on sale today at 2 PM today on the company’s website mi.com/in. This is company’s first flash sale for the Mi Band, and the registrations for today’s sale is now closed.
The company has not revealed the total number of units it will make available, but we do know that the first 1,000 lucky customers will get the Mi Band for just Re 1. The website informs buyers that if the Mi Band gets added to a user’s cart, the customer must make the payment within two hours, after which the product will be removed from their carts automatically.
The company also informs that the standard warranty terms may not apply for the Mi Bands purchased for Re 1. If you want to be the first 1,000 to grab a Mi Band, it is recommended to be online 2-3 hours prior to the sale. Ensure that you have registered beforehand and have all your payment details plugged in for faster checkout. Keep your credit/debit card handy in case of rechecking or error in payment gateway.
Xiaomi launched the Mi Band in India in April alongside the global launch of the Mi 4i. The Mi Band is a fitness tracker that keeps a track of users’ steps, workouts and sleep pattern. Additionally, the smart band also sends users missed call alerts via vibrations. It also boasts a feature that will automatically unlock your Android smartphone if you are holding the smartphone in the same hand as the Mi Band.
As per the company, the Mi Band has a battery life of up to 30 days, and is also IP67 certified, which makes it resistant to water and dust. It is connects to smartphones via Bluetooth 4.0, and is compatible with Android smartphones as well as iPhones.
