The Mi Body Composition Scale measures characteristics including BMI, muscle mass, fat, and more. The company claims to provide accurate body composition statistics with 10 precise data points. It features a minimal design, and shows muscle mass, BMI, visceral fat, bone mass, body score, body fat, weight, basal metabolism, water content, and more. The body scale is claimed to produce stats based on a series of complex algorithms and advanced Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). With the Mi Fit app, you can sync up the data from the scale to your smartphone for easy tracking of the progress. It is compatible with devices running Android 4.4 and above, and iOS 8.0 and above.
Interestingly, the body scale can identify and store up to 16 user profiles, making it easier to keep a track of the health of all family members. It comes with low-energy Bluetooth 4.0 technology, which the company claims allows the scale to operate up to eight months with just four standard AAA batteries.
In terms of aesthetics, the Mi Body Composition Scale has been designed with a sleek, tempered glass. It features an anti-slip finish, making it safe for use by children, or with wet feet. It comes with an LED display, which lights up only when you step on it. The scale weighs 50 grams while the weighing range lies between 5kg-150kg.
