Adding to its long line of products in India, Xiaomi has launched two new models of earphones. The Chinese company launched Mi Earphones, which is priced at Rs 699, and comes in black and silver color options. The other is the Mi Earphones Basic, which is priced at Rs 399 and comes in Red and Black color variants.
Besides the two new earphones, Xiaomi has also slashed the price of the Mi In-Ear Headphones Basic. From the original price of Rs 499, the earphones are now available at Rs 399.
According to details on Xiaomi’s official website, the Mi Earphones are encased in a metal sound chamber created using a 20-step process. The earphones feature a wired remote, allowing users to answer calls and control volume. They weigh 14 grams, come bundled with three different sizes of ear tips in the packaging of sizes – XS, S and L. The cable used to build the Mi Earphones is kevlar fiber cable, which is also claimed to be tangle-free.
Whereas, the Mi Earphones Basic, are apparently ‘designed for India’, owing to its red color option. The Mi Earphones Basic offer ultra-low bass. The earphone’s wired remote other than acting as a mic and volume controller, also allows a user to play or stop the music. The Basic variant doesn’t feature tangle-free cables.
