Xiaomi‘s latest phablet, the Mi Max 2, will be available on sale today via e-commerce platforms. The phablet was launched last month, and it is priced at Rs 16,999. The Mi Max 2 will be available for purchase on Xiaomi’s official website mi.com, Amazon India, Paytm Mall, and Tata Cliq. The sale begins at 10:00AM on all four platforms, and the phablet will be available in black color.
While there are no other sale offers on the Mi Max 2, users can still avail 30GB of additional 4G data on Reliance Jio. Sprung up from a partnership between Xiaomi and Jio, Mi devices including the Mi Max 2 are eligible for this offer. Mi Max 2 users will get the extra 30GB of 4G data on recharge of Rs 309 and above. In terms of design, the Mi Max 2 features an all-metal unibody with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. It is 7.6mm thin, which makes it quite slim and light for a phablet.

To start with, the Mi Max 2 features a mammoth 6.44-inch full HD (1080p) display. At the core of the phablet runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB RAM. It also comes with 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. On the software front, the Mi Max 2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat-based MIUI 8. In the photography department, the phablet sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX386 sensor, dual-LED flash, 1.25-micron pixels and PDAF support. Up front, it houses a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. In addition to its large display, the Mi Max 2 also packs a massive 5,300mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 and Parallel Charging.
