Xiaomi Mi Max 3 with 6.9-inch display and 5,400mAh battery spotted on TENAA

Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has been spotted on the website of Chinese electronics certification agency TENAA. The listing also revealed the specifications of the upcoming device painting a clear picture for us on what to expect. According to a report by GizmoChina, TENAA has just certified three models, M1804E4C, M1804E4T, and M1804E4A of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. The listings of all three models do not include any product images or the complete listings of the upcoming device.

According to the listing, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will come in 176.15×87.4×7.99mm dimension with 221gm when it comes to the weight of the device. The weight of the device indicates that the device will be considerably hefty in comparison to most smartphones in the market right now. For the sake of comparison, the iPhone X is about 174 gm in weight. The display on the Mi Max 3 will come with a 6.9-inch FHD+ resolution along with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Mi Max 3 is likely to be powered by a processor that is clocked at 1.8 GHz which points at Snapdragon 636 SoC. However, as pointed by the report, it is likely that the company may opt for Snapdragon 710 for the top end variant of the Mi Max 3. The listing reveals that the device will come with a 5,400 mAh battery along.

M1804E4C will come with 64GB and 4GB RAM, M1804E4T, and M1804E4A will come with 3GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variants.The listing also pointed out that Mi Max 3 will come with dedicated microSD card slot while running Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It is likely that the device will come with MIUI 10 instead of the current MIUI 9.5.

Moving to the camera department, the listing pointed out that the back camera will come with a 12-megapixel sensor, however, it could not confirm if Xiaomi will pack a dual camera setup with the Mi Max 3. However, the company has opted for a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for the M1804E4C model number while the other two models come with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
