There’s been no dearth of leaks around the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. Adding to the list is an alleged hands-on video that shows the front and back of the upcoming phablet.
The hands-on video was spotted on Weibo, and was then re-uploaded on YouTube. The two videos show the Xiaomi phablet in two different colors – Black and Gold. The overall design is also in line with what we have seen in previous leaks.
The front is dominated by the screen, which is expected to be 6.9-inch size. The display is likely to run on FHD+ (2160×1080 pixels) resolution, and sport an 18:9 aspect ratio. There are no physical buttons either. Instead, users will be able to choose between on-screen navigation buttons or gestures. At the back, you can see the vertically aligned dual-camera setup, a fingerprint sensor, and the Mi logo.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 rumored specifications, features
The Mi Max 3 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC, and there will be three variants to choose from. These include 32GB+3GB, 64GB+4GB, and 128GB+6GB.
For photography, the phablet is likely to include a combination of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. For selfies, there’s likely to be an AI-backed 5-megapixel camera.
Besides the large display, another noteworthy feature of the Mi Max 3 will be the battery. Rumors hint at a massive 5,500mAh battery. Needless to say this battery will be good enough to last over a day on a single charge.
Xiaomi is yet to announce an official date for the Mi Max 3 launch. Chances are, the company could unveil the phablet at its July 25 event in Spain. If that comes to be true, the Mi Max 3 will share the stage with the Mi A2.
