The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be launching in China on July 19, and there seems no stopping the barrage of leaks. A few days ahead of the launch, an alleged retail box of the phablet has surfaced online. Another image showing the front panel of the Mi Max 3 has also leaked confirming a couple of its specifications.
The leaked retail box of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 was spotted online by MySmartPrice. The front of the box is quite plain with just the Mi logo at the top corner, and ‘Max 3’ written towards the bottom. The back confirms a few of the specs that have leaked before. The box belongs to the Mi Max 3 variant featuring 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM. There have also been rumors about a top-end model featuring 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM.
Besides the retail box, a real-life image of the Mi Max 3 has also surfaced online, courtesy of ithome.com. The image shows the About Phone screen of the phablet with focus on a few key specifications. The leak reveals that the upcoming device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. This is in fact contrary to previous leaks that have hinted at a Snapdragon 660 chipset. It will be interesting to see which chipset Xiaomi eventually opts for.
