Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its Mi Max phablet with a massive 6.44-inch display in India. The launch event is set to take place on June 30. The Xiaomi Mi Max has already been launched in China and is offered in 3GB RAM + 32GB/64GB storage, and 4GB of RAM + 128GB storage variants. Now, ahead of India launch, a Mi Max variant with 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage has surfaced online. Spotted by GizmoChina, the phablet is equipped with the same set of specifications and features as the ones launched in China, with the only difference being RAM and storage capacity. It will be reasonable to assume that the phablet would carry a slightly lower price tag compared to the other variants.
Xiaomi Mi Max specifications, features: The phablet flaunts a 6.44-inch full HD (1080p) display. The 32GB storage variant is powered by Snapdragon 650 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM, whereas the 64GB storage + 3GB of RAM and 128GB storage + 4GB of RAM variants are powered by Snapdragon 652 chipset.

In the photography department, the phablet sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF support, and a 5-megpaixel wide-angle selfie camera. Armed with a 4,850mAh battery with Quick Charge support, connectivity options on the phablet include 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS and Bluetooth.
As of now, there is no word on the pricing, but in China the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants are priced at 1,499 Yuan (Rs 15,300 approximately), 1,699 Yuan (Rs 17,500 approximately) and, 1,999 Yuan (Rs 20,500 approximately), respectively.
