The recently launched Xiaomi Mi MIX2 went on its first sale today in China. And, the sale for the second-generation bezel-less smartphone could only last for 58 seconds, GlobeMobiles reports. Xiaomi primarily sells all its smartphones using the flash sale model, and thus the number of smartphones put on sale remains unknown. A hefty reception during the first sale was much-anticipated considering the hype that followed from leaks and rumors ahead of the official announcement of the smartphone. The Mi MIX 2 is the successor to the Mi MIX launched last year in China. The Mi MIX following a similar flash sale model last year went out of stock in less than 10 seconds. Again, it cannot be said how many units Xiaomi had put up for the sale. The Mi MIX 2 will open for next flash sale on September 19. While Mi MIX never went on sale out of China, the Mi MIX 2 will. The Mi MIX 2 will launch in India later this year. In terms of features and specifications, the smartphone comes with 5.99-inch full HD+ display, and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Mi MIX 2 is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. The Mi MIX 2 is available in three variants in China 64GB onboard storage priced at RMB 3,299 (approximately Rs 32,400), 128GB onboard storage priced at RMB 3,599 (approximately Rs 35,300), and 256GB onboard storage priced at RMB 3,999 (approximately Rs 39,300). It also comes in a limited edition with a ceramic body, 128GB storage, and a staggering 8GB of RAM, priced at 4,699 RMB (approximately Rs 46,100). As of now, there is no official word from the company on how many variants it will bring to India.
