Flipkart has announced that after the successful launch of the Redmi Note 4 and Mi A1 on its platform, Xiaomi will sell the Mi MIX 2 on the e-commerce platform as well. We can expect Flipkart to announce a host of introductory offers with the phone after the launch tomorrow. The Mi MIX 2 was launched in China last month, and based on the Chinese pricing, it will be the most expensive Xiaomi smartphone available in India. The Mi MIX 2 was launched in three variants 64GB priced at RMB 3,299 (approximately Rs 32,400), 128GB priced at RMB 3,599 (approximately Rs 35,300), and 256GB priced at RMB 3,999 (approximately Rs 39,300). There was also a limited edition variant with a ceramic body launched, which comes with 128GB storage, and 8GB of RAM. This variant is priced at 4,699 RMB (approximately Rs 46,100). Talking about the Mi MIX 2, the talking point of the phone is its large 5.99-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 540 GPU, and 6GB of RAM.
For photography, the Mi MIX 2 features a 12-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, and 4-axis optical image stabilization (OIS). On the software front, the Mi MIX 2 runs on Android Nougat out-of-the-box with Xiaomi s MIUI 9 custom skin layered atop. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G VoLTE support. It is fueled by a 3,400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. There is no 3.5mm jack, although users will get a 3.5mm-to-Type C adapter in the box.
