In its MIUI forum, the company reportedly announced that the Developer Preview of the latest Google Android version, with all its new features, will be arriving on the Mi MIX 2s. Android P is the upcoming version of the most popular smartphone OS. There’s a lot of chatter around what will Google call it finally. It is expected to be rolled out sometime in the third quarter this year. As part of the ongoing testing of the software, it has been discovered that Android P will get redesigned navigation and multitasking UI. This has also to do with the notch support that the OS is confirmed to receive.
Other interesting new features that the Android P will bring to your device include retaining the last set volume level of your Bluetooth headphones, iPhone X-like built-in gesture controls, and support for indoor navigation as well. Irrespective of whether it will be called Android Pie or Popsicle, the next OS update is unlikely to be too radical.
