The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is launching tomorrow at the Palace Museum in Beijing, China. A new leaked poster of the smartphone that showcases its front and rear sides is now being shared on Weibo. The image reveals that the Mi MIX 3 will be sporting a new display design, but its rear side resembles the Mi MIX 2S phone that was announced in March.
The image shows that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 will boasting an impressive screen-to-body ratio of around 95 percent since it features super-slim bezels around the display. The smartphone’s predecessors so far have featured the selfie camera located on their bottom bezel. The Mi MIX 3 though is seen sporting a slimmer chin as Xiaomi has moved the 24-megapixel selfie camera to the slider of the smartphone.
The rear side of the black colored Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 seems to be made out of ceramic material. It features a vertical dual camera setup that is expected to come with the ability to record 960fps super slow-motion videos.
Since the entire back of the phone is not visible in the image, it cannot be confirmed whether the smartphone features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Apart from black, the handset is also rumored to arrive in two other color options such as Emerald Green and Sapphire Blue.

An image of the black and blue variants of the Mi MIX 3 was spotted in the previous week. The image was reportedly shared by none other than Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun though it has since been taken down. The image had revealed that both the handsets were equipped with rear-mounted fingerprint scanners. So, there is a possibility that the Mi MIX 3 could be equipped with a rear-facing fingerprint sensor.
Xiaomi has already launched phones like Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition and Mi 8 Pro with under-display fingerprint scanner. Hence, the rumor mill had speculated that the Mi MIX 3 will be arriving with a pressure-sensitive under-display fingerprint scanner like the Mi 8 Pro. Probably, there could be multiple variants of the Mi MIX 3, and the higher configuration model may feature an in-screen fingerprint reader.
