Xiaomi’s upcoming bezel-less smartphone is up on the web in many leaks already. Now there is one more leak on internet claiming that Xiaomi will launch the Mi MIX 3 on October 15 in China. We have seen numerous leaks that talk about how the front camera on the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 will slide out similar to the Oppo Find X. There was a recent GIF leak showcasing the camera functionality as well. The image had edges blurred in order to hide the anticipated button placement on the smartphone.
Rumors have suggested that Mi MIX 3 will come with a dedicated Xiao AI button placed on right side of the phone, which is expected to work quite similar to Samsung’s Bixby button. The Philippe Starck-designed Mi MIX 3 could be the most premium device yet from Xiaomi.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 3: Expected Price and Specifications
The Mi MIX 3 is expected to feature a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display and will ditch the notch seen on Mi 8 and front camera placed on the chin in the previous Mi MIX smartphones. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and up to 128GB internal storage.
It is expected to feature dual 12-megapixel rear cameras aided by AI, and a 20-megapixel selfie shooter at the front. The selfie camera will be coupled with additional depth sensors for the Face ID implementation. The Mi MIX is also tipped to pack a huge 4,000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm s Quick Charge 4.0.

It is expected to run MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and will be among the first devices to get Android 9 Pie update. It is also expected to bring wireless charging support, and could be priced at RMB 3,799 (around Rs 38,100) for the base variant.
