Xiaomi is getting closer to announcing the highly anticipated Mi MIX 3, a device that is expected to bring true design trends to the line of smartphones. Leaks already indicate that the Mi MIX 3 this year will have a screen with even thinner edges than the predecessor. Leaks continue to indicate that Xiaomi will be implementing a mechanical front pop-up camera system on the smartphone, similar to what we saw on the Vivo NEX. Now, leakster Ben Geskin has shared a conceptual render based on the earlier leaks of the Mi MIX 3.
The concept image reportedly shows the final and definitive design of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3. The device is seen boasting thin edges, a tiny chin, no notch and as a result, no front camera sensor. In line with previous leaks, the front camera is likely to be hidden inside the body with a mechanism that opens once the user accesses the camera app. At the back will be two camera sensors (16-megapixel+12-megapixel), making Huawei probably the only company in 2018 (at least so far) to feature a triple-camera setup.
Xiaomi has traditionally implemented the best components for its Mi MIX lineup, and in 2018 it will be no different. The Mi MIX 3 is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, and it is expected to be available in 6GB/8GB RAM options, and with up to 256GB of storage.

Additionally, the device is also rumored to be IP68-certified for water and dust resistance, and run the latest Android Oreo-based MIUI with support for gestures. According to recent reports, the launch of the Mi MIX 3 is reportedly scheduled for September 15.
