Xiaomi has recently launched the Mi MIX 3 flagship phone in China, and now through its Weibo account, the company has confirmed that it will be announcing a new Lite model tomorrow morning. It is difficult to deduce the name of the device that Xiaomi will be announcing tomorrow. Netizens are speculating that the company may unleash the Mi MIX 3 Lite tomorrow.
The Weibo post that accompanies the above image suggests that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a “youth” model. After announcing the Xiaomi Mi 8 flagship phone in May, the Chinese manufacturer had debuted the Mi 8 Youth Edition in September in China. The same phone has been made available as Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite in Europe.

The above image could be teasing the photography prowess of the upcoming Lite model. Since the Chinese firm has recently introduced the Mi MIX 3 phone, it is speculated that its Lite version featuring toned-down specifications may get announced tomorrow. Some are speculating that the alleged Mi MIX 3 Lite could be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with 4GB / 6GB RAM options.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite that has been recently made available in the European markets include 6.26-inch notched IPS LCD screen that carries support for Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The Snapdragon 660 chipset powers the phone. It may arrive in variants such as 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, and 4 GB RAM with 128 GB storage.
The Mi 8 Lite is fitted with a 24-megapixel front-facing camera and a dual camera module that includes 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. It is packed with a 3,350mAh battery and comes pre-installed with Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
