Xiaomi has unveiled a new teaser on Weibo, which shows a mathematical equation 2>5 along with a caption that translates to ‘Love it, no one lose’. While Xiaomi doesn’t explicitly say so, we guess it is teasing the launch of the much rumored Mi Note 2 phablet. While that explains the number ‘2’ in the equation, the ‘greater than 5’ could mean that the Mi Note 2 will be more powerful than the recently launched Mi 5 smartphone. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 specifications, features: Based on the rumors, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 could be available in two variants — 32GB variant with 4GB RAM, and 64GB variant with 6GB RAM. The upcoming phablet is also expected to feature a 5.7-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display, Qualcomm s Snapdragon 820 processor, 16-megapixel rear camera, 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, and connectivity options like ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, NFC and 4G support.
There are also rumors about another variant with 128GB storage and 6GB of RAM. But the highlight of this variant is likely to be a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge-like curved display. There are also rumors that this variant could boast pressure sensitive technology, similar to Huawei Mate S‘ Force Touch.
Speaking of pressure sensitive displays, we have been hearing about another smartphone called the Xiaomi Mi 5s. A report now claims that this variant of the flagship Mi 5 smartphone too will get the Force Touch display. It is expected to launch sometime next month. As for other specs, the Mi 5s is expected to feature a 5.5-inch screen, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
