Lastly, the top-end variant is likely to come with dual curved edge AMOLED display, the same as we ve already seen on Galaxy S7 edge. While it is also rumored to include Hi-Fi audio and super quick charging, the report doesn t talk about dual-camera setup.
In terms of hardware, rumors suggest the Mi Note 2 could feature a 5.7-inch QHD display, Qualcomm s Snapdragon 820 SoC or slightly faster Snapdragon 823 SoC at helm, paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Previous leaks also pointed that the Mi Note 2 could be offered in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants. That s not all; it could also feature Sony s 16-megapixel IMX298 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 3,600mAh battery.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has also been working on the Mi 5s which is said to come with a pressure sensitive display, Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a dual camera setup at the back. Just yesterday, we also learned that the Redmi 4 is likely to be powered by MediaTek s Helio X20 deca-core chipset.
Based on the leaks, the upcoming Xiaomi smartphones and phablets seem to pack some impressive set of specifications and feature. However, we will have to wait until Xiaomi makes them official.
