There have been many rumors about Xiaomi‘s Mi Note 2 smartphone in the past few months. Xiaomi was expected to introduce the Mi Note 2 device back in January this year, but apparently the smartphone hasn’t been launched as yet.According to recent reports, the smartphone will finally be launched at the Xiaomi Summer Conference 2016. Now, new rumors suggest that the Mi Note 2 will be available in three different variants, and one of them will come with 6GB of RAM and another with curved display. According to rumors, the first variant of the Mi Note 2 will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, and will have the standard full HD screen. The second variant is rumored to come with 6GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage, while the third variant will get 6GB of RAM with 128GB internal storage and a curved display just like the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Other rumored Xiaomi Mi Note 2 specifications and features include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor or a slightly upgraded Snapdragon 823 SoC, dual 12-megapixel rear cameras for the top 6GB/64GB variant and the Edge variant, while the standard 4GB/32GB model is expected to get a 16-megapixel rear camera. It is likely to come with 4,000mAh with Quick Charge 3.0. Connectivity wise the smartphone will have ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, NFC, infrared, Wi-Fi audio to name a few.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 price: The Mi Note’s 4GB/32GB model is rumored to be priced at CNY 2,499 (Rs 25,300 approximately), while the 6GB/64GB variant will cost CNY 2,999 (Rs 30,400 approximately) and CNY 3,499 (35,000 approximately) for the 6GB/128GB variant. The Mi Note 2 could also very well be the most expensive smartphone launched by Xiaomi so far.
