The rumor mills have been recently full of news about the Mi Note 2, and Xiaomi recently also released a teaser hinting at an imminent launch. Xiaomi has already started teasing the Mi Note 2, and in the run up to the rumored July 25 launch, we can expect some more teasers to be released as well. Interestingly, the recent teaser released on Weibo featured equation 2>5, which can be one way of hinting at the date 25. If we go by what Xiaomi s president Bin Lin said a few months back on launching a powerful smartphone in July, the launch of Mi Note 2 doesn t seem far.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 specifications, features: From what we know so far, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to be available in two variants — 32GB variant with 4GB RAM, and 64GB variant with 6GB RAM. The rest of the specifications are likely to include a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 1440 pixels) display, Qualcomm s Snapdragon 820 processor, 16-megapixel rear camera, 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, and connectivity options like ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, NFC and 4G support.

There are also rumors about another variant with 128GB storage and 6GB of RAM. But the highlight of this variant is likely to be a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge-like curved display. There are also rumors that this variant could boast pressure sensitive technology, similar to Huawei Mate S Force Touch.
