After launching the Mi 6, Xiaomi is now gearing up to launch its next big smartphone, the Mi Note 3. Successor to the Mi Note 2, the Mi Note 3 could launch as early as next month. The Mi Note 3 has been revealed in bits and parts through leaks that hint at premium specifications and features. An alleged render of alleged Mi Note 3 has been leaked online showing the rumored dual-camera setup on the smartphone.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has been rumored to feature a dual-camera setup on its rear, but the details on its features and specifications aren’t known as yet. However, there have been reports claiming that the Mi Note 3’s dual-camera will be similar to the pair on the Mi 6. The Xiaomi Mi 6 sports a pair of 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with 4-axis optical image stabilization (OIS), and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The Mi Note 3’s dual-cameras seen in the image is placed on the top-left corner much like the Mi 6. The LED flash comes first with the twin sensors sitting beside each other.
Delving further into the new render, spotted by MobileXpose, the Mi Note 3 is seen flaunting a similar design like its predecessor, the Mi Note 2. The dual-edge curved display is still intact with a physical home button upfront, and thin bezel on the top where you also find the front-facing camera lens. Speaking about its ‘premium’ specifications, the Mi Note 3 could be the first Xiaomi smartphone to ship with MIUI 9 out-of-the-box. MIUI 9 will bring in performance improvements and new features like multi-window support, quick reply from notifications, RAM optimization, improved data saver, Always-on VPN and call screening. The smartphone will possibly be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC and could launch in two variants in terms of memory. The base variant would pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage, and the other with a massive 8GB RAM plus 256GB storage. The Mi Note 3 is expected to be fuelled by a 4,070mAh non-removable battery. Xiaomi Mi Note 3 price
The Mi Note 3 is speculated to be launched at a price of $599 (Rs 38,800 approximately) for the 6GB plus 128GB variant. The high-end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage could be priced around $699 (Rs 45,300 approximately).
