Chinese electronics maverick Xiaomi could be launching a new model of its Mi Notebook laptop range on November 6, according to a new teaser. The laptop could be a more affordable variant of its existing line-up, and might be powered by the Intel Core i3 processor, according to a report by GizChina, the publication that has spotted the teaser. The company maintains a large range of laptops, available in various configurations and sizes ranging from 12.5-inch screens to 15.6-inch screens. The laptops feature processors ranging from the Intel Core m3 to the Intel Core i7, with the newest editions powered by 8th-generation Intel Core processors. While the focus has typically been on offering high-end laptops at competitive mid-range prices, the latest product could see Xiaomi bring its laptop range to the budget segment as well. If the new range is powered by the Intel Core i3 processor, this could allow the company to offer a premium design at around the equivalent of Rs 20,000, when launched. Although laptops aren’t quite as big a segment for Xiaomi as smartphones, the laptops could generate some attention. The launch could take place on November 6, according to the report.

In India, Xiaomi does not sell its laptop range, although you may be able to see and feel the Xiaomi laptops at Mi Home Experience Stores across the country. These stores showcase Xiaomi products from China that aren’t yet available in India in order to showcase the brand to customers.
Indian fans of Xiaomi have been asking for the laptop range to be brought in for some time now, and Xiaomi has promised to explore the feasibility of doing so. However, there are no concrete plans to do so as of now. The company did introduce its TV range in India earlier this year, which has seen significant success in its short time in the market.
