Xiaomi is having a sale today for the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 and the Mi TV 4-series of smart TVs via mi.com 12:00PM. The Xiaomi Redmi Y2 is the successor to last year’s Redmi Y1, with its key highlight being the front-facing 16-megapixel camera, powered by AI technology. The base variant of the smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999, and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Talking about Xiaomi Mi TV 4 series, it is offered in three models – Mi TV 4 55-inch, Mi TV 4A 43-inch, and Mi TV 4A 32-inch. These will be available through mi.com and Flipkart, at a price of Rs. 44,999, Rs 22,999, and Rs 13,999 respectively.
Xiaomi Redmi Y2 specifications and features
The Redmi Y2 is powered by a Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset, paired with Adreno 506 GPU, and a 3,000mAh battery. It features a 5.99-inch HD+ display with a tall 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo, layered with MIUI 9.5 on top. Besides the internal storage, it features an expandable storage of 256GB via a microSD card.
The 16-megapixel camera up front comes with an aperture of f/2.0. It is equipped with Super Pixel, AI Beautify 4.0, and LED flash. It also supports Face Unlock feature. There is a dual-camera setup at the back, which includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor, paired alongside a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and micro-USB port.
Xiaomi Mi TV 4 and Mi TV 4A specifications and features
The Mi TV 4A is available in two sizes 43-inch and 32-inch. The bigger variant offers full HD resolution, while the 32-inch model offers only HD ready resolution. Both models feature a 60Hz standard refresh, and are powered by an Amlogic 64-bit quad-core processor, Mali-450 MP3, 1GB RAM, and 8GB storage. You also get three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and 20W speakers.

The Mi TV 4 is the most premium model in the series. It packs-in a 55-inch Ultra HD 4K resolution display with a 60Hz standard refresh rate and HDR support as well. The smart LED TV features a sleek design with a 4.9 mm ultra-thin profile. It is powered by a quad-core Amlogic 64 bit processor, Mali-T830 MP2 Graphics, 2GB RAM, and 8GB storage. The TV also comes with three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and 8W stereo speakers. All three TV runs on PatchWall OS.
