Chinese smartphone maker and electronics giant Xiaomi has just announced that it is expanding the availability of its Mi TV products to offline channels in the Indian market. As part of the announcement, the reason for the company in expanding the availability is because of the tremendous success that the company observed in its TV business. The company stated that it has sold over half a million sales in just half a year. The other reason for this move is likely to counter the backlash that it has received from potential customers who were trying to get their hands on the device in the early months of availability. Maintaining the inventory has proved difficult for the company for how popular the product category has turned out to be. For instance, the Mi LED Smart TV 4 with a 55-inch screen is still not in stock on Mi.com if a user wants to buy it at the time of writing this. According to the announcement, Xiaomi customers, Mi Fans and any potential Mi TV buyers can get Mi LED Smart TVs from over 500 Mi Preferred Partner stores across 9 cities .
