While there are reports of MIUI 10 stable ROM being currently available only in China, Xiaomi has released the MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 8.8.30 for all its users. The company has been working on issues with MIUI 10 for quite some time and now this update fixes ‘important bugs’ along with offering some improvements.
The MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 8.8.30 update changelog by Xiaomi mentions that it will fix the ‘double notifications for a single message’ for two instant messaging apps – WhatsApp and Telegram. The update also fixes one minor problem with the MIUI 10 security app. Overall this update doesn’t have many fixes as it has come just a weekafter the previous version 8.8.23, which had a big changelog.
Some of the issues that have been fixed in MIUI 10 Global Beta v8.8.30 are as follows:
Fix – The text in the scan tool of MIUI SecurityApp is not completely displayed.
Fix – It will create a shortcut on the home screen each time you used “Cleaner” app.
Fix – There’s a shadow around numbers in calendar app.
Fix – WhatsApp and Telegram showing double notifications for single Message.

If you have a Xiaomi smartphone and would like to try out the new features that MIUI 10 brings, you can do so by manually flashing the ROM. However, to do that, you’ll first have to unlock the bootloader of your smartphone by requesting an unlock code from Xiaomi.
Last week, the company rolled out MIUI 10 Global Beta v8.8.23 with quite a few bug fixes, and general optimizations. Most Xiaomi smartphones run on MIUI, while the company also has the Mi A1 and Mi A2 which are part of the Android One program.
