Xiaomi recently rolled out the global beta version 8.7.5 of MIUI 10 for a bunch of devices. The update adds LDAC functionality for Bluetooth, enabling better audio quality over Bluetooth-enabled headphones/earphones than what Qualcomm s aptX HD offers. The new update also adds a trending music videos section in the Mi Music app, which is limited to the Indian market.
Introduced alongside the company s notch-toting Mi 8 flagship smartphone, MIUI 10 comes with a completely reworked user interface and quite a few new features.

In MIUI 10, the notification shade has been completely redesigned and now looks a lot cleaner. The Recent Apps screen has been revamped as well, and now shows the apps in a double-column, vertically-scrollable list. MIUI 10 is also highly gesture-driven, with gestures for standard actions like opening navigation screen and switching between active apps. Keeping up with the latest trends, MIUI 10 also uses AI to learn usage patterns and preload apps for faster loading times and overall better performance.
