Xiaomi has reportedly started pushing the final MIUI 10 stable OTA update to a number of devices including latest Redmi 6 series. The update is said to be rolling out in China for the Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 Pro, Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi MIX 2S, Mi Note 2, and Mi 6X. The company has released the MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 8.9.6 for compatible devices as well.
The stable MIUI 10 update is based on Android Oreo and is being rolled out over-the-air (OTA). Xiaomi started rolling out of the stable version of MIUI 10 last month in China starting with Mi 6 devices. Now according to XDA-Developers report, the updated stable version of MIUI 10 has reached more devices in China as well. The latest version MIUI 10 includes features like full-screen gestures, redesigned recent apps overview, AI portrait shots, and more.
Xiaomi’s MIUI comes in four ROM versions. Apart from Global Stable and Developer versions, Xiaomi specifically makes two more ROMs for Chinese market – China Stable and China Developer. Last week, the company released MIUI 10 China Stable to Redmi Y2, Redmi S2, Mi 5, and Mi Mix. It was also released for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, notes report.

You can install any of version of the MIUI 10 ROM, but keep in mind that Chinese ROMs don’t come with Google Play Services. The Global ROM includes many languages and Google Play Services.
Meanwhile, during the launch of Redmi 6 series in India, Xiaomi promised that the smartphones will soon get MIUI 10. As for now, these will be released with MIUI 9.6 out-of-the-box.
