The Xiaomi Poco F1 is priced from Rs 20,999, and comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, depending on the variant. The base variant is priced at Rs 20,999, the mid-variant with is priced at Rs 23,999, and the top-end variant is priced at Rs 28,999. There is also a special armored edition boasting a kevlar back panel, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. This variant is priced at Rs 29,999. The phone will go on sale from August 29 via Flipkart and mi.com, and will be the most premium smartphone in the extended Xiaomi line-up. Buyers using HDFC credit or debit card users will get Rs 1,000 discount during the first sale on all the variants. Reliance Jio is offering up to Rs 8,000 of benefits, and 6TB of free data.
The Xiaomi Poco F1 looks to take on the existing starter flagship devices such as the OnePlus 6, Asus Zenfone 5Z, and Huawei Nova 3, thanks to impressive specifications at the price. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, and comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and storage options varying from 64GB to 256GB. The phone is significantly lower priced than equivalent variants of competing smartphones, without any compromises on the specification sheet.

Apart from the high-end chipset, RAM and storage options, the Poco F1 features a 12-megapixel+5-megapixel dual-camera setup at the rear with AI enhancements, a fingerprint sensor, a 20-megapixel front camera and an advanced face unlock system that works even in the dark, similar to the Apple iPhone X. The phone also features a 4,000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 out-of-the-box. Charging and data transfers use the phone’s USB Type-C port.

Another interesting addition to the phone is its liquid cooling solution, which promises ‘industry-leading thermal performance’. The system promises cooler functioning even under heavy usage, which will not only enhance performance but also improve battery life and longevity. The Poco F1 also sports a 6.18-inch full-HD+ 18.7:9 aspect ratio screen, complete with a large notch. You also get a hybrid dual-SIM tray and dual-VoLTE connectivity.
The Xiaomi Poco F1 comes in various color options, with the top-end Armored Edition variant sporting a Kevlar back panel, along with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The other variants come with plastic at the back and sides. The pricing of the Xiaomi Poco F1 means that you can see it from two different approaches; it either serves as an affordable step-up from the mid-range, or a very well-priced flagship device.
Poco is also giving “super soft case” for free with the Poco F1. The company will also offer Ultra-slim case for Rs 399 and Armoured case for Rs 799. In addition to cases, the company has also launched official skins for Poco F1 for Rs 299. This is the first time that a company is giving away official skins on its website in the Indian market.
