Xiaomi is working on launching a new smartphone lineup under the Pocophone branding in the market. Previous reports have hinted that the company is likely to launch this new lineup in the North American market and India with no information on the specifications of the device. However, a new report by GSMArena has given us some hint about what to expect from the Pocophone F1 in terms of the internal hardware. According to the report, the specifications were spotted on a Belarusian online shopping store, XiStore.
The listing seems to confirm the device will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. It is likely that Xiaomi may be planning to launch two variants of the device where the first will pack 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and the second with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device is expected to come with a 6.18 IPS display panel with FHD+ resolution, 18.7:9 aspect ratio, and the notch. Xiaomi is also adding a dual camera setup on the back of the device with the primary sensor with 12-megapixel resolution and f/1.75 aperture and the secondary camera with 5-megapixel camera sensors on the back. The device will also come with “Dual Pixel autofocus”.

Moving to the front of the device, the Pocophone F1 will come with a 20megapixel camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and what the report claims to be “Super Pixel” technology. According to the other specifications on the listing page, the device will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 along with a USB Type-C port. We are not sure if the company is planning to add the 3.5mm headphone jack of it will go as most smartphone companies have gone this year by removing the port.
The listing does not mean that these specifications are final for the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 as the company may change things at the launch. We still have to wait for the official confirmation. There is no information on the launch date, pricing, or availability of the device at the time of writing. This comes just a day after Xiaomi announced its partnership with Holitech Technology to bring smartphone component manufacturing to the Indian market.
