Now, the Chinese company has revealed its exact plans, with the Redmi 3s set to be launched on August 3. Xiaomi had launched the Redmi 3s in China back in June, with prices starting from 699 Yuan, which is approximately Rs 7,000. Two variants of the device was launched in China — 16GB and 32GB. The 32GB variant comes with 3GB of RAM and is priced at 899 Yuan (Rs 9,000 approximately). In India, we expect the Redmi 3s to be placed below the Redmi Note 3 in the Rs 7,000-Rs 9,000 price range. In this segment, the smartphone will compete against the likes of the Lenovo Vibe K5, Reliance Digital LYF Wind 5, and CoolPad Note 3 Lite to name a few.
