The Redmi 4 and the Mi Router 3C are the latest product in Xiaomi‘s growing India portfolio. Launched last week at an event in Delhi, the Redmi 4 and the Mi Router 3C are all set to go on sale for the first time today. The sale of both the products will begin at 12PM. While the Redmi 4 will be available via Amazon India and Mi.com, the Mi Router 3C will be up for grab only via company’s official website. The Mi Router 3C is priced at Rs 1,199, whereas prices for the Redmi 4 start from Rs 6,999 for the 16GB variant with 2GB of RAM. The other variant going on sale today is priced at Rs 8,999 and it comes with 32GB storage and 3GB of RAM. The most expensive variant (Rs 10,999) with 64GB storage and 4GB of RAM however is not going on sale today. The internal memory of all the three variants can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. Xiaomi will put the black and gold variants on sale today, but the company has not yet announced the total number of units for today s sale.
Those who are planning on buying the Redmi 4 phones can also take advantage of a host of introductory offers. These include a Mi original case cover worth Rs 349, Mi headphones for Rs 599, and Rs 500 cashback for YES bank debit and credit card users. Apart from this, if you are a Vodafone customer, you will get 45GB data free for five months. Users have to recharge with 1GB or above 4G data pack and in return, they will get 9GB of additional free 4G data for five recharges with a maximum validity of five months. Xiaomi had put the Redmi 4 on sale on May 20 via Mi Home, its new retail outlet in Bengaluru. Xiaomi s VP, Manu Kumar Jain tweeted that saying that more than 10,000 Mi fans walked in and the company has earned more than 5 crores in revenue in less than 12 hours, yet again breaking all Indian smartphone offline industry records. Xiaomi Redmi 4 specifications, features
The smartphone features a full-metal body with a 2.5D curved glass on top of the screen. Featuring a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm s Snapdragon 435 octa-core SoC. On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase detection autofocus (PDAF) support. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the smartphone comes with options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 update out-of-the-box wrapped under MIUI 8.
Apart from the Redmi 4, Xiaomi’s new Mi Router 3C too will be going on sale today. The router is priced at Rs 1,199, and it comes with smart functionality that lets you control it using the Mi Wi-Fi app. The router supports 2.4GHz single frequency, and four outer antennas. With support for IEEE 802.11n protocol, the router can offer maximum speeds of up to 300Mbps.
