Xiaomi today conducted the first sale for the Redmi 4, but in case you missed out on getting your hands on the device, you can try again on May 30. The second sale will again kick off at 12:00PM on mi.com and Amazon India. Just like today buyers will be able to choose from 2GB/16GB or 3GB/32GB variants. Please note that Redmi 4 (4GB +64GB) variant will not be available during the next sale. While the Redmi 4 units are out of stock on Amazon India, on Mi.com, users can still try their luck at 2PM. The company has notified users that at 2:00PM, some stocks that were not bought will again be made available for users. Xiaomi has not yet disclosed the total number of units it sold via online channel today.
Earlier today, Xiaomi has registered a record-breaking revenue of Rs 5 crore in 12 hours in its offline sales held on May 20. The company said that at Mi Home store they saw over 10,000 footfalls and smartphones like the Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, and Redmi Note 4 were the major contributors in the sale.
To recap, prices for the Redmi 4 start from Rs 6,999 for the 16GB variant with 2GB of RAM. The 32GB storage and 3GB of RAM variant is priced at Rs 8,999, while the 64GB storage variant with 4GB of RAM will set you back for Rs 10,999. Rest of the specifications of the smartphone include a 5-inch HD display, 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC, and on the software front, it runs on Android 6.0.1 OS. Alongside the Redmi 4, Xiaomi today also put the Mi Router 3C on sale for the first time. The Mi Router 3C is priced at Rs 1,199. Unfortunately, the product also went out of stock and will be available for purchase again via an open sale very soon.
