Xiaomi is set to hold another event in the country, where it is expected to launch the affordable Redmi 4A. The company sent out invites for a press briefing on March 20, which kicks off at 1.30 PM. Though it doesn’t spell out the words Redmi 4A, but the invite makes it almost clear that the Redmi 4A is the new entrant in the Indian market.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A was launched in the Chinese market back in November 2016, along the Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime. The Redmi 4A was the cheapest among the Redmi 4 series that was launched, priced at RMB 499, which translates to approximately Rs 5,000. And the fact that the smartphone comes with such an affordable price tag and features 4G VoLTE support and is powered by a Snapdragon 425 is its high point.

To put things in perspective, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD display, sports a 13-megapixel PDAF rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
