Xiaomi‘s latest budget contender, Redmi 5, will be up for its second flash sale today. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Amazon India and mi.com at 12 PM. It will also be available on Xiaomi’s offline Mi Home stores.
During its first flash sales last week, the smartphone was quick to run out of stock. As per Xiaomi, the company had around 400,000 units available, and in a matter of minutes, the stocks were all sold out. Although Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain promised that there will be increased supplies, it is only the second flash sale of the Redmi 5 and in all likelihood, all the units will be sold out before hopefuls are able to book a unit for themselves. The overwhelming response to the smartphone is owing to its features and aggressive pricing.
