Xiaomi is conducting a sale for the Redmi 5A today. The sale will commence at 12:00PM via Flipkart and mi.com. The smartphones can also be purchased via Xiaomi’s offline retail partners as well. The smartphone is available in two variants – 16GB storage with 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage with 3GB of RAM. These are priced at Rs 5,999 and Rs 6,999, respectively. The company is also putting the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i and 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i on sale today. The sale for the power bank will, however, commence at 10:00AM via mi.com.
As a part of today’s sale, if the purchase is made using Axis Bank Buzz credit cards, then you can avail an additional five percent discount on the purchase via Flipkart. If you are a Reliance Jio user, you can get up to Rs 1,000 cash back after 12 months. For the cash back, a customer needs to recharge their Jio SIM with Rs 199 plan for 13 consecutive times on their Xiaomi Redmi 5A handset. The cash back will be in the form of 10 vouchers of Rs 10 each that can be redeemed one at a time via the MyJio app against Jio recharges of Rs 309 or above, or against add-ons of Rs 201 or above. Xiaomi Redmi 5A specifications, features
The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. For photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), and a f/2.2 aperture. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone also features a 3,000mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to last for more than a day. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. On the software front, the device runs on Android Nougat-based MIUI 9.
Mi Power Bank 2i
The 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i and 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i will be made at the newly launched center in Noida. In terms of specifications, the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i features dual-USB output and two-way quick charge. It comes with an actual output capacity of 6,500mAh.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i features dual-USB output with Quick Charge 3.0 support when charging using a single port, and scratch resistant body. Both the power bank can be used to charge laptops, smartphones, and tablets. It is the first time that Xiaomi has added dual-USB support to its power banks.
