Both Xiaomi and Huawei are having a sale today. Xiaomi is putting its newly launched the Redmi 6 and its budget smartphone Redmi 5A up for grabs today, while Huawei is giving its fans an opportunity to get their hands on the mid-range Huawei Nova 3i. The Xiaomi phones will be going on sale through Flipkart and mi.com and the Nova 3i will be available on Amazon India. The sale for all smartphones will commence at 12:00PM.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 and the Redmi 5A are available at a starting price of Rs 7,999 and Rs 5,999. Like always, there are a few offers running on the smartphones to sweeten the deal. On the Xiaomi smartphones, Flipkart along with Axis bank is offering a 5 percent off on Axis Bank Buzz credit cards. There are also some EMI options available on smartphones. Xiaomi on the other hand is offering Mi Protect at Rs 549 and a 3-month free subscription for Hungama Music on the Redmi 6. It should be noted that both will be flash sales, so customers are recommended to login to the respective websites in advance.
Moving to the Huawei Nova 3i, the smartphone is available only on one variant, which is priced at Rs 20,990. There are some exciting offers running on the mid-range smartphone as well. For starters, HDFC is offering an instant 5 percent discount on purchase made through its debit and credit card. Amazon is also offering up to Rs 6,490 on exchange offers. Lastly there are no cost EMI options available from a number of banks.
Xiaomi Redmi 6
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 features a 5.45-inch HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It comes powered by MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core SoC, that is tagged alongside 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Additionally, the smartphone storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. There is a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Upfront, it boasts a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies. The smartphone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and runs on MIUI 9.6 based Android 8.1 Oreo underneath its hood.
Xiaomi Redmi 5A
The Xiaomi Redmi 5A sports a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. It comes loaded with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. There is also a higher-end variant available, which comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB, priced at Rs 6,999. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter at front for taking pictures. The Redmi 5A runs MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat, and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

Huawei Nova 3i
The Huawei Nova 3i features a 6.3-inch notched full HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core SoC processor, which features maximum clock speeds of 2.2GHz. It also boasts 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage with the option to expand storage to 256GB via a microSD card. In the photography department, the Huawei Nova 3i flaunts dual cameras at the back and at the front. At the rear, there is a 16-megapixel sensor coupled with a 2-megapixel sensor, while at the front, a 24-megapixel sensor is paired alongside a 2-megapixel sensor. The smartphone is fueled by a 3,340mAh battery, and runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
