Xiaomi is gearing up for yet another launch this month. The company will be introducing three new smartphones in the Redmi 6-series on September 5, and it has already started teasing the same. These Xiaomi smartphones include the Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro and the Redmi 6A. Now, the latest teaser on Twitter highlights the Dual 4G VoLTE feature.
Until now, dual SIM smartphones allowed you to use 4G services on SIM one, whereas the other SIM slot would fall back to 2G or 3G. So if you were using Vodafone or Airtel connection in SIM 1 slot, and the Reliance Jio SIM in the second slot, Jio would not work as the telco only supports 4G network. And if you Jio SIM card in the primary slot, the Airtel or Vodafone SIM would only support up to 3G speeds. The newer chipsets allow you to have 4G connections on both SIM slots, offering a better connectivity solution.
