Ahead of the Redmi Note 2 unveil, there is yet another image leak of the upcoming phablet from Xiaomi. This image has reportedly been leaked from inside the manufacturing factories, and reveals a blue frame around the hardware. This leak comes from Chinese tipster @KJuma (first spotted by GSM Arena), who also leaked the OnePlus One image yesterday. The blue frame indicate a blue variant of the Redmi Note 2, suggesting that the Redmi Note 2 will be offered in various colors. Usually Xiaomi sticks to white, with its flagship releases, and recently ventured in with grey variants for the Redmi 2 and Mi 4i. Earlier leaks suggest that the phablet will feature a fingerprint sensor located below the rear camera and the LED Flash.The Redmi Note 2 is likely to feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 1080 pixels) display, as well as a MediaTek s latest Helio X10 (MT6795) chipset under the hood. There are still a few contradicting reports which claim that the forthcoming phablet will be powered by a Snapdragon 410 (MSM8919) processor.
Other features expected on the forthcoming phablet include a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 3,000mAh battery, LTE support, and run on Android Lollipop wrapped under MIUI 6.
As with all such rumors, we advise you to take this leaked photo with the proverbial pinch of salt. The company is expected to conduct an event today in China where it is expected to unveil the Redmi Note 2.
