Bin put up a photo on Weibo, which shows the back panel of the forthcoming phablet. The photo is not only in line with the various leaked images we have come across so far, but also confirms the presence of the fingerprint sensor placed below the camera lens. The Redmi Note 2 Pro is essentially an improved variant of the Redmi Note 2, which was launched in August. It will not only feature a metallic body, but is also among the first devices in the company s portfolio to boast a fingerprint scanner.

Per some leaks, the next-generation tablet is expected to feature a 7.9-inch (2048 1536 pixels) display, 2.24GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8500 quad-core chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, and run on Android Lollipop-based MIUI 7.
